Operational Statement. COVID-19(Return to Previous Page)
After the government announced recently that the country was going into lockdown, Create landscaping ltd have made the difficult decision to the temporary partial closure of the business and move some staff onto the government supported Job Retention Scheme (Furlough), for potentially the next three weeks, due to some customers requesting a postponement of our services and some still requiring our services but keeping to minimum visits to sites.
We have also taken the decision to put on hold any works and visits to quote for our private customers, for the safety of them and our staff. We will continue to support our commercial customers at their request providing we can meet the guidelines set out by the government, and are monitoring the situation on a daily basis.
Create has already taken provisions prior to this because of rising concern around COVID-19. Prior to lockdown all our staff were travelling to locations, one person per vehicle. We have purchased and supplied plenty of hand wash / sanitizer to our staff and are working to the government's advice, making sure the two-metre distance rule was imposed, which is possible at our locations. All our Staff are fully aware of their responsibility and keeping safe was paramount.
The office administration will be partially staffed which may have a slight impact to responding to calls. However we will be contactable for all request/instructions through our email system, which will be monitored daily.
Whilst we are committed to the support and wellbeing of our staff during these difficult times we appreciate their understanding of the situation at this time, we will be in contact with them to check and to keep them informed of the company situation.
At this time it is a major concern for the landscaping and horticulture industries due to not knowing the time scale and effect that this crisis will have on the future.
Whilst we appreciate the support from our customers, we hope that they will understand and continue to have a great working relationship in the future.
