Gardening for the bees with The British Bee keepers Association.

We are working alongside the British Bee Keeping Association to encourage the planting of a wide variety of flowering plants for the bees.

Bees among other pollinators play a vital role in our ecosystem, so by providing them with a feast of various plants they provide us not only with their delicious honey but pollinate our crops for tasty fruit and vegetables, etc

We can all play our role in this exercise by planting nectar and pollen rich flowers. These plants and flowers needn't take up huge amount of space. They can be planted in your garden, hanging baskets, window baskets or a huge variety of pots and containers.

We can all do our bit and enjoy a beautiful show of flowers and watch these busy bees working away,

so it's a win win situation all round.  For more information visit  The BBKA website https://www.bbka.org.uk/
